Xbox Live and Comcast Are a Great Match

September 14th, 2008 by Dlife Admin in Comcast specials, high speed internet providers

About a year ago, my husband discovered the world of gaming using his beloved Xbox game console. What he didn’t know at the time was that Xbox had a feature called Xbox Live that allows you to play with others over a high speed internet connection. He was determined to get connected so he called Comcast to see if they supported this feature. It turns out they worked with Microsoft to ensure that Xbox Live is fully compatible with Comcast broadband Service.

The good news is that the online gaming feature was very easy to set up. Installation was not complicated and there where no confusing configurations to worry about. Both the Xbox website as well as the Comcast website had all the information needed to make his dream a reality. He followed the easy step by step instructions found on the Comcast website. Their documentation was excellent and they had extensive information for trouble shooting the connection in a detailed and organized manner. The best part about it is that the online gaming feature was already included as part of our Comcast Service Plan, so we didn’t incur any additional fees.
